Selection & service guidance

Seal selection

Confirm the shaft-seal arrangement, face materials and elastomers. A service kit must match the installed pump and process duty.

Pump head and gearbox

Rotors, shafts, bearings and timing gears require model-specific identification. Timing and running clearances must follow the applicable manual; arrange qualified service for internal repairs.

What to send DFT

Share the model, serial number, nameplate photograph, seal details and observed symptoms. Include the pumped product, cleaning conditions and maintenance window.

Safe maintenance planning

Isolate power, depressurise and allow the pump to cool before service. Follow the equipment-specific manual and site safety procedures.

Spares support from DFT

Prepare for planned maintenance

Build a critical-spares list around your installed equipment, service history and operational priorities. Review quantities and lead times before a shutdown.

Match the complete configuration

A similar appearance does not confirm compatibility. Model, serial number, size, materials and operating conditions help identify a suitable replacement.

Resolve the cause of wear

Leakage or repeated component failure can indicate an operating or installation problem. Combine replacement with inspection and a review of the equipment duty.
